Site:

The project is located in a high density, low income residential neighborhood, on the north side of an 8m wide street, between 3 old residential buildings, southern Tehran, Azadi Ave., Jayhoon St.

Program:

A five story apartment building, 500 m2, four 2 bedroom units, 90m2 each, with the basement devoted for parking and storage space.

Systems:

- Structure: Braced steel frame in one direction, moment resisting frame in the other, standard rolled shapes for beams, composite slabs for roof decks

- Architecture: Cavity block walls, Marmarite stone tiles flooring, painted walls, washed cement plaster for the exterior facades

- Utility: Hydronic system with package units and radiators for heating ,and evaporators for cooling each unit
